Jeremy Kost collection for Each x Other marries Flora and photography in a whimsical exploration of the earth around us. Jeremy’s flower-filled polaroids are the visual centre of the collection, with his double exposure prints recurring frequently throughout, whether printed on t-shirts or tucked away on inside linings. Layers of semi-transparent and opaque fabrics play with the ideas of transparency and superimposition, creating a hazy, poignant portrait of the natural world. New York based Jeremy Kost uses polaroid photography to capture the fleeting and the transitory, creating a “tangible memorial” of the delicate world around us. In each of his snapshots a wistful haze passes over the lens, concealing the harshness that can often become part of our modern realities and showcasing the natural, whimsical beauty of the earth. x
